17/08/04  As promised here's a couple of wallpapers to keep you happy (don't say i never give you anything!) Just CLICK HERE 18/08/04 Just got back from seein' The 5678's (Japanese girlie trio)  And they Fu*kin' rocked!! (best band i've seen in a long while).They're known for the Carling "whoo.. hoo.. whoo hoo hoo" song and the Kill Bill film but play excellent guitar,garage,trash.surf music and are well worth a gander. (The fact that they wear tinselly mini dresses with boots and the singer has tattoos is just icing on the noodles!.) 28/11/04  This is Friggin! pitiful, 3 months since an update (but there again my life's pretty uneventful anyway).So..Have seen a bunch of punk bands,found a computer in the street (better spec' than mine),rescued a 5 CD changer stereo out of a skip,have read 3/4 of "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance" and found it BORING PRETENTIOUS SHIT!!.Saw MOTORHEAD and found them LOUD NOISY N' BRILLIANT!! (and i also found a "cancerous" mole which turned out to be a Sebaceaous cyst,or as my doctor put it "a fancy blackhead"). So thats probably all till new year when my typical existential "where is it all going" angst sets in and i make empty updating promises again!!. 29/11/04 I know it's terribly fashionable to knock the Live Aid single but hey..cliches become cliches because they're invariably true,and so it is with this slab of vinylised puke.It sounds TERRIBLE,the voices are flat,the music is a dirge and whats with that rap tripe in the middle!!??.I don't even recognise half of the "artists" (nothing to do with age i assure you) and i'm convinced it WILL NOT be number one at Christmas,if it is i'll cook up one of my various hats!. 24/01/05 Mozilla Firefox Webrowser,an alternative webrowser that really should be given a try!! 
28/01/05  I know the pink pound is worth a pretty penny or two so i can't blame TV producers for targeting it .HOWEVER when the fuck did gay people become the self appointed arbiters/experts of style,fashion and relationships!!! 14/02/05 (Valentines Day apparently!!) So,overlooking the advent and importance of The Smiths,Acid house,"Madchester" ,Grunge,Nirvana,Rebirth of guitar rock,etc.. Robbie williams' "Angels" has been voted the best song of the past 25 years!!??.It just goes to show that-
18/03/05  six months using LINUX and it's still working,maybe it's worth the effort after all 01/05/05  What is it with Chillis that no matter how careful you are and however many times you may wash your hands three days later they are still weedling their "poison" into nearly every orifice and burning like crazy!!? (don't even get me started on the horrors of liking chillis AND wearing contact lenses) 13/05/05 (unlucky for some) So i've finally made the leap into the heady high speed world of broadband and am now able to download "wildlife documentaries" at speed any time of the day!.Even more suprising is that i was able to get Linux up and running in about 10 mins using this rather fetching (second hand) modem and some esoteric info' gleaned from various geek forums!  (So now i have little excuse to keep this page updated.) 17/11/05 It turns out the little excuse i needed is that i'm bone idle and can't be arsed!!.What i can't believe is that is was OVER A YEAR ago that i saw The 5678's,it really seems like only six months ago i was leching at the front of the Academy  Time really is fleeting! 07/04/06  So after a short sabbatical (~10 years) i've actually found gainful part time employment at the Urban Village,Digbeth using my (considerable) talents listing 60's 70's retro stuff on eBay (you can see some of my work Here ).A perfect little job opportunity which proves two tired old adages "it's not what you know it's who you know" and "where theres muck theres brass". whilst on the subject of tired old sayings this years excuse for not updating my website is simple,the World,it's Wife and her stinkin' cat all now have Blogs proving "theres nowt as boring as folk".This is one bandwagon i'm stepping off.See ya in Six months! 03/06/06 Despite my diminutive stature i've jumped on the internets biggest bandwagon (for this year at least),i now have a Myspace Profile you can find here .If anything it's easier to code so hopefully i'll be updating it more than this site AHA..HA..HA.HA.HA!!! 13/05/07 I can't believe that last post is almost one year old!.Still just about working at 'The Village' though the Custard Factory's had it as a retail outlet   © Midge '05
